Homes we work on in Jupiter
The old Jupiter townsite holds some of the town's earliest houses, many from the early and middle 1900s. Farther out, Jupiter Oaks went up around 1979 and 1980, and Jupiter Gardens, Jupiter Landings and Jupiter Highlands followed in the mid to late 1980s. Most of those are single-story concrete block homes with stucco outside, so anything we hang on an exterior wall goes in with masonry anchors.
Abacoa is younger. Construction there started in 1997, laid out around a walkable town center, Roger Dean Stadium and the FAU campus, with townhomes, condos and single-family houses side by side. Out west, Jupiter Farms trades subdivisions for acreage, so jobs there lean toward gate repairs and long driveways that need pressure washing.
Near the inlet and the river, salt air does steady damage. It pits screen frames, rusts hinges and gate latches, and eats at painted fascia faster than it does a few miles inland.
Gated clubs, HOAs and condos in Jupiter
A good share of Jupiter lives behind a gate. Jonathan's Landing sits on the Intracoastal, Admirals Cove mixes golf with waterfront lots, and condo communities such as Jupiter Harbour sit along US-1. Communities like these commonly ask vendors to register ahead, carry a certificate of insurance and stick to set work hours, and the gate usually lets us in only after the owner adds us to the list.
Send us the management company's vendor requirements when you book. Our COI goes to the association, we ask you to put us on the gate list and give you an arrival window, so the guard is not calling you at 8 a.m. asking who we are.
If your HOA approves exterior changes, like a different latch style or a new screen color, get that sign-off first. Your community documents decide what needs approval, not us.
Jobs Jupiter homeowners ask for most
Most Jupiter calls are a short list of small things, often stacked into one visit. The $149 visit minimum covers the first hour on site, and time after that is $85 an hour.
Fascia work stops at non-structural boards. If the rot runs into rafter tails or framing, we'll point you to a licensed contractor. Painted trim in a pre-1978 house gets a lead check before we cut or sand it, and a positive test means the job goes to an EPA lead-safe certified firm. Long fascia runs that would pass Florida's $2,500 handyman limit get referred to a licensed contractor.
- Window and slider rescreening, starting at $35 per standard screen and $79 for a sliding door screen
- Sagging gates, rusted hinges and latches that no longer catch, starting at $179
- Rotted fascia and trim boards, starting at $22 per linear foot in primed wood or $28 in PVC, with a $249 minimum
- Driveway pressure washing, starting at $199 for a two-car driveway
- TV mounting in Abacoa townhomes and condos, starting at $149, plus $49 for a block or concrete wall
Seasons in Jupiter
Snowbird owners usually arrive around November and head north around April. The weeks before arrival are when we hear about stuck sliders, broken blind cords and screens torn by summer storms. Spring training at Roger Dean Stadium makes late winter busy around Abacoa, and plenty of owners want the guest room ready before visitors come down for it.
From roughly late May through October, the rains overflow gutters and soften wood near the ground. Storm season follows its own calendar, June 1 through November 30. A hurricane prep visit from us starts at $299 for up to 10 openings and covers the owner's existing panels or accordions, patio furniture and loose items. That price is set in advance and does not go up once a storm emergency is declared.

Questions from Jupiter homeowners
Do you work in gated communities like Jonathan's Landing or Admirals Cove?
Yes. Tell us the community when you book and forward the vendor rules if you have them. We provide our certificate of insurance, get on the gate list through you and follow the community's work hours.
Is there a minimum charge for a Jupiter visit?
The minimum visit is $149 and includes the first hour on site. After that it is $85 an hour. If your address carries a travel charge, we tell you when you book, before anything is scheduled.
My screens keep tearing near the water. What can you do?
Sun and salt wear mesh out fast near the inlet and the river. We rescreen on site with standard mesh or pet screen, which adds $10 per screen. Frames that are bent or corroded get replaced instead of patched.
Can you mount a TV on a block wall in my Abacoa condo?
Yes. Many condo walls are concrete or block, which takes masonry anchors and adds $49 to the $149 starting price. We do not add outlets or run power inside the wall; that is electrical work, and we'll point you to a licensed electrician.
Do you work out in Jupiter Farms?
Yes. The bigger lots mean more gate repairs, fence fixes and driveway washing. We repair existing fences and gates, but new fences that need a permit are outside what we do.
