Homes in Boynton Beach
Leisureville, between Congress Avenue and I-95 south of Boynton Beach Boulevard, is one of the older 55+ communities in the area and is made up mostly of low-rise condos. Bathrooms and kitchens there are often original or close to it, which is where small repairs add up.
West of town, Valencia Lakes opened in 1997 as the first of the Valencia communities, and later ones like Valencia Cove and Valencia Reserve followed, along with Cascade Lakes, Coral Lakes and Tuscany Bay. These are mostly single-family and attached homes behind a gate. Many of these western communities carry a Boynton Beach address even where they sit outside the city limits.
East of I-95 the houses change again. Neighborhoods like Chapel Hill and Lake Boynton Estates have older homes on larger lots, many with no HOA, and they need the same things any older South Florida house needs: trim, stucco cracks, doors and screens.
55+ communities, HOAs and condo rules
Age-restricted communities and condo associations in Boynton Beach commonly ask vendors to register with the management office, keep a certificate of insurance on file and work within set hours. Some gatehouses also want the owner to call in a pass for each visit.
If you're up north when the work needs doing, that's fine. Tell us how to get the key and the gate pass, and we'll send photos when the job is done. If you're booking for a parent who lives here, we can send updates to both of you.
In condo buildings, ask the manager if drilling is limited to certain hours and if the elevator needs to be reserved for deliveries or furniture.
Jobs we get asked for most
Most of the work here is about safety and comfort in the bathroom and around the house.
- Grab bars anchored into studs or blocking: $149 for the first bar, $99 for each additional, plus $40 per bar on tile walls
- Fixing a running toilet or a dripping faucet, $149 plus parts
- Recaulking tubs and showers, starting at $159
- Swapping round interior doorknobs for lever handles
- New blinds, shades and curtain rods
- Assembling beds, dressers and desks for new arrivals
- Closing up the house for summer and opening it back up in the fall
Seasons in Boynton Beach
Snowbird season, roughly November to April, sets the calendar here. A house that has been shut for months often greets its owner with a running toilet, a battery smoke detector chirping, a stiff slider and a box of things that still need hanging.
Departure is the other end of it. Before you leave in spring, a snowbird departure visit ($149) shuts things down: we check for drips, change the air filter, bring in loose items and leave you a photo report. While you're away, home watch visits start at $189 a month for two visits.
Hurricane season, June 1 to November 30, falls mostly while snowbirds are gone. If you have panels or accordion shutters, we can put them up before a storm and take them down after, starting at $299 for up to 10 openings. Booking ahead is how you get on the list.
Neighborhoods we serve
We work in Boynton Beach proper and in the communities to the west that share its name.
One limit worth knowing: we only repair or swap existing fixtures. We don't move plumbing lines or add fixtures where there were none, so a walk-in shower conversion or a new sink location needs a plumber, and we'll point you to a licensed contractor for that.

Questions from Boynton Beach homeowners
Can you install grab bars in a 55+ condo?
Yes. We anchor into the solid backing behind the wall, whether that's a stud, blocking or concrete, and never into drywall alone. If your association limits drilling hours, tell us and we'll schedule around them.
I'm up north. Can you do the work while I'm away?
Yes. Arrange gate access and a key or lockbox, and we'll send photos before and after. You see the finished work the same day without flying down.
Can you replace round doorknobs with lever handles?
Yes. On interior doors with standard holes it's a quick swap, and several doors usually fit inside one visit. Levers are easier to work with arthritis or with your hands full.
What happens if you find a bigger problem, like a leak inside a wall?
We stop, show you what we found and tell you who handles it. Leaks inside walls or under the slab need a plumber, and we'll say so instead of patching over the damage.
